Boat Ramp

The boat ramp can be found at the south end of the Poulsbo Marina, next to the Marine Science Center. Use of the boat ramp is $5.00 for launching use.  Parking can be found at the Port’s public parking lot, located at 19133 Jensen Way. Parking fees for vehicles with trailers are $5.00 per day and $25.00 per week. If you want to avoid paying for parking, you might get lucky and find street side space up on 3rd Avenue. It’s worth a look!

Please note, there are a few limitations to using the boat ramp. The first is the size of boat that the ramp will accommodate. There is no absolute maximum, but launching and retrieving boats greater than twenty-eight (28) feet could be a challenge. How big a boat you can launch is directly related to the tide cycle. The lower the tide, the smaller the boat needs to be. At a zero tide, the water runs out to the third piling on the boat ramp dock. During extreme low tides, the ramp actually becomes unusable, so have a look at the tide charts before coming down. You’ll be glad you did!

Vessel Pump-out Stations

Pumpout-1.jpg

The other station is located by the boat ramp, on the permanent moorage landing float. Access to this station is relatively tight, making it most usable by boats under 30′.

In addition to these two pump-out stations, we also have two portable carts capable of transferring up to 50 gallons. These come in handy if you don’t want to move your boat. You only need to check one out at the guest moorage office.

Also there is a mobile pumpout service that will come to your boat and pump out for you.  NW Mobile Pump Out

The Poulsbo Marina has two, fully equipped pump-out stations for boaters to use at their convenience. Each is available 24 hours a day.

One station is located in the guest marina, adjacent to the Fuel Dock. Because of its location, it will accommodate vessels upwards of 70′ long.

Loading Dock

Loading-Dock-1.jpg

This is one of the only places in west Puget Sound that a boater can load or unload equipment directly to a vehicle. Local fisherman come here to stock their vessels with provisions and fishing gear.

The railing is completely removable, making it much easier and safer to move on and off the boat. Large batter piles are equipped with UHMW rub strips to help protect your boat from getting scarred or damaged.

The dock itself has a load capacity of 100 lbs per square foot. Plenty for just about any vehicle you might use to haul your equipment and gear.

Tidal Grid

Have a need to inspect the bottom of your boat or change out a zinc? Then consider using our Tidal Grid.

Built in 1975, the tidal grid is one of the last remaining in Puget Sound. It offers boat owners a unique opportunity to conduct vessel inspections without having to pay for a haul-out.

To reserve the tidal grid, please download and complete the Tidal Grid Reservation Form. Either email or fax (779-8090) the completed form to the Port office. To check tidal grid availability, please call

(360)779-3505 ext. 1.

Dinghy Docks

If you’re anchoring out while visiting Poulsbo, there are two places in guest moorage for you to park your dinghy when spending time in town. One is in the area between the Fuel Dock and the Multipurpose Room. The other is along the inshore side of the dock connecting “E” and “F” docks.

Laundry Room

The Laundry Room is located in the same building as the Bath House, at the top of the ramp in the guest marina area of the Poulsbo Marina. The facility is complete with two commercial grade, coin-operated washers and two dryers. It costs $2.00 per cycle on each machine.

The room is small so there isn’t much room to spread out. However, there is a small table and folding counter to assist while doing your laundry.

Have a nasty stain you need to wash out by hand? You’re in luck! There is also a utility sink available for the items needing special attention.

Access for visiting boaters is gained by using the security code issued by the marina attendants at the guest moorage office. Marina tenants can gain access by using their Port issued key cards.

Multipurpose Room

If you’re planning to visit Poulsbo with a group of our closest boating friends, then consider reserving the Multipurpose Room (MPR) for your gatherings. The MPR will hold up to thirty people and is a great place to get out of the wind and rain on those classic northwest days.

The MPR is equipped with three folding tables, chairs for twenty-five people and a commercial grade coffee maker. Plenty of electrical outlets make it a great place for pot-lucks, while the heaters make it cozy during the cold months.

We are delighted to host your group or yacht club rendezvous. Group reservations are those that involve ten or more boats, therefore, we ask that your club organizers handle each aspect of your visit.
